The details for the upcoming BET Awards 2008 (BET Awards were established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment) has been announced this week. The confirmed performances in the Awards night which will be shown live on BET this coming June 24,2008 were the following: "Party People" by Nelly, "Touch My Body/Bye Bye"- Mariah Carey, "Lollipop"-Lil Wayne, "Just Fine"- Mary J Blige, and "Rock Wit U/Feedback"- by Janet Jackson
