"7 Things" is the 1st single from Miley Cyrus' upcoming studio album Breakout. It's her second top 10 single, after "See You Again". Miley Cyrus described the song as "therapy" for her, saying "through all the different stages of what's been going on the past couple years." She said the song's lyrics are "Miley going through, like, 900 emotions while I'm trying to write a song."
