Michael Phelps is The Greatest Olympian Ever

Champion swimmer Michael Phelps became the athlete with the most wins in the in the history of the Olympic Games after capturing his fifth gold medal in Beijing Olympic Games on Tuesday. Phelps, who turned in a six-gold performance at the 2004 Games in Athens, now has a collection of 11 gold medals total.

And he’s not done yet, this 23-year-old Baltimore native is just over halfway to his goal of breaking Mark Spitz’s record seven medals in a single Olympics.
