Korean star
Rain is set to conquer Hollywood via it's martial arts film entitled “
Ninja Assassin.”
Rain is aiming to become the next big action star from the east after
Jackie Chan,
Chow Yun Fat &
Jet Li. His first appearance in a Hollywood film was in Speed Racer, & now Rain (aka
Jung Ji-hoon) has nabbed a leading role in a film called Ninja Assassin.
Rain will portray
Raizo, a kidnapped child who is raised to be a professional killer but ends up seeking revenge against the clan that made him who he is. Set for worldwide release on November 25, 2009,
Ninja Assassin is directed by James McTeigue under Warner Bros. Pictures.
