David Cook Wins
American Idol! Don't worry
David Archuleta fans, I'm sure there's more in store for our Archie, look at the runner-up on previous AI seasons. That's it! It hurts :(
Jason Castro, You are the weakest link goodbye! lol :) Jason Castro ended his American Idol journey, Syesha Mercado joined him on the bottom 2! Will it be David vs. David at the Finals? OMG! Archie for the muthaf*ckin' WIN!

A result that that is not expected by many-- Michael Johns is eliminated! (his first time in the bottom 3) They predict either Syesha Mercado or Carly Smithson are the one to be booted off. Michael Johns (age 29, the oldest in this batch) performs his own rendition of Aerosmith's Dream On. Paula Abdul and the live audience was shocked at the result: "There's a lot of surprised fans here and watching right now" Seacrest uttered.

The 12 guys on American Idol were overall pretty good. It was a very enjoyable show tonight and here is a little review of the contestants in order of their performance:
* David Hernandez, nice voice, cute, but unfortunately he didn't do anything that was exceptional.
* Chikezie Ezie, seemed a little old-fashioned but he does have a great voice. I wasn't digging his performance. I think he took the 60s theme a little too seriously.
* David Cook, loved his performance of "Happy Together" - he rocked!
* Jason Yeager, beautiful voice but wish he didn't choose "Moon River" because it was boring. It felt like a cruise ship song.
* Robbie Carrico, judges loved him. However, his performance wasn't that special to me. Ryan pointed out that he looks like Justin Timberlake and he actually kinda does! Sounds like Ryan might have a little crush goin on...
* David Archuleta, only 17 years old, but performs very mature. He has an infectious smile and laugh...I adore him.
* Danny Noriega, great voice. I love that he seems comfortable being himself, but the performance seemed a bit rushed - maybe not the best song choice to show off his range. Love the head snap when he talked about Simon not liking the "grotesque" performance.
* Luke Menard, very cute and reminds me of Kenny Loggins.
* Colton Berry, sang okay, but I thought this performance was more "grotesque" than Danny's.
* Garrett Haley, boring song choice - he could'vce seriously put me to sleep. Simon made me crack up when he said:
"You look like you've been locked up. You need some fresh air."
* Jason Castro, pleasant surprise! I hadn't seen him sing before tonight's performance, thought he was great. Glad they allowed him to perform with his guitar.
* Michael John, hot performance of "Light My Fire" from the Doors.
My faves from tonight: Michael John, Jason Castro, David Archuleta, and David Cook.
My prediction for the two getting the boot: Colton Berry and David Hernandez
