Ellen Degeneres on American Idol, Replacing Paula Abdul

Yup! The 4th seat on American Idol has been filled.

After a month, Paula Abdul tendered her much talked about Twitter resignation as a judge on "American Idol," Fox announced last Wednesday that she was being replaced by one of the show's biggest fans, comedian & talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres.

Fox's 5-year deal with Ellen DeGeneres puts to rest a major challenge facing Fox as the aging singing competition enters its 9th season in January 2010, filling the shoes of the judge considered by many to be the heart of the show: Paula Abdul.

"I don't know how it happened myself, but I have not missed one episode of that show," Ellen said in the episode of the talk show that airs today. "I love everything about it and I love music, as you know. Hopefully I'm the people's point of view because I'm just like you. I sit at home and I watch it and I don't have that technical . . . I'm not looking at it in a critical way from the producer's mind. I'm looking at it as a person who is going to buy the music and is going to relate to that person."

Newest Filipino YouTube singing sensation duo called “Rin on the Rox” had been invited by the host Ellen DeGeneres to appear on her show talkshow.

Dubbed as the “bathroom singers” Rin and Rox were actually best friends who have the same passion and were both based in California, USA. “Recently, I found these two singers on the Internet. These two girls are singing in the bathroom. So they are fantastic. If you are watching right now, please, please come on the show if you are watching. We have a wonderful bathroom here… But seriously, you are great. So please, please come on the show if you would like to,” said Ellen in a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Actually this is the first gay wedding I've encountered so far, and host Ellen Degeneres looks so very happy in her wedding day, right?. What can I say, Congrats to Ellen Degeneres & Portia de Rossi! The above photo is from the latest issue of People Magazine.

Britney and Heidi Klum, Talks About Diaper

Heidi Klum is on The Ellen Degeneres Show today where she told Ellen that Britney Spears taught her a lot of things about diapers. Heidi and Brit had a little chat at Heidi's Halloween party.

UsWeekly reports Heidi said, "We were talking about babies and diapers and she explained to me a lot of things about diapers I that didn’t know. You know these sticky things on the side? I never knew that they were there. To close them in the front, I was always putting string around. I had no idea."

"It’s very clever. I learned a lot of things."

How effin dumb can you be? That conversation sounds like an ox trying to discuss the works of Dostoevsky with a hammer.

I've never changed a baby in my life and even I know what those sticky things are. Well, probably because I've been asked to wear a diaper a few times in bed. JOKING! Ok not really, but just pretend I am.

Brit probably talked to her in that Nell language the entire time. "Mah diapapap sticky icky bubbies bubby funn Heeee diiiiii." Dumb Heidi probably knows what the hell she's saying.
