He has a brother, Jacob Dionisio, of whom is his co-actor in Super Inggo.

Currently, he is being recognized as Eliza Pineda's loveteam. Their team-up started during their Maria Flordeluna days, in which, Joshua played the role of Boyet who will eventually realize his hidden feelings for the lead star.

The two of the country's most promising child actor and actress of this generation also starred in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya, featuring the love story of two young teens who, without prior knowledge, defined the word love as if they were writing in a scrapbook. According to them, "Love is like a rosary that's full of mystery."

Joshua also appeared in a special Halloween episode in 1 vs. 100 Kids Edition! as one of the little mobs which dared actor Long Mejia to share his knowledge and defeat all of the little mobs. Unfortunately, just after a few moments the game show, Long did give up to those intelligent kids.

In Kung Fu Kids, Joshua plays an evil villain role, and people criticize him due to this, but he continuously explains that after a twist in the story, his character would turn into a compassionate one.
