Kanye West Apologizes on Jay Leno's Show

In a 3 mins. interview with Jay Leno, rapper Kanye West expressed regret for taking away the microphone from Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards 2009.

“I immediately knew in the situation that it was wrong,” Kanye West told Jay Leno during the talk show host's prime-time debut.

Kanye West also said that he’d like to apologize to Taylor Swift in person.

Kanye West closed out the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards with a performance of a brand new track dubbed 'Love Lockdown' off his upcoming album.

"Love Lockdown" is Kanye's most recent single, to be released on September 8, 2008 off of his untitled 4th studio album. Kanye West performed the song as the "explosive finish" to the 2008 MTV VMAs on Sunday. The song marks a drastic departure for KanyeWest, standing as his first solo single to feature no rapping, and is instead sung using Auto-Tune.

Britney Spears, Michael Phelps & Michael Jackson in the 2008 MTV Video Music Award

We all know Britney Spears won’t be hitting us one more time with another disastrous performer at MTV’s annual Video Music Awards, but what about as a presenter? Sources tell Us Weekly, that this 'Toxic' singer is desperate to give away one of the night’s honors at 2008 VMAs, airing September 7. According to recent whispers, Britney Spears could be joined on stage by fourteen-time Olympic medalist Michael Phelps.

“She hopes to share the stage with Michael Phelps.”

Also, rumor has it that Michael Jackson will be joining in. TMZ reports: “Sources close to the awards tell us MTV honchos have been working OT to get Jacko to reappear at the awards. We’re told a deal is as good as sealed to have MJ present an award with sister Janet.”

The Hills - Season 4 Trailer

MTV released the brand new trailer for The Hills Season 4.

Season 4 is set to start airing August 18th, 2008 with a total of 19 episodes. A preview for the fourth season shown at the end of Season 3 included scenes of a rivalry between Audrina and Lo while Stephanie's loyalty to both Lauren and Spencer is pushed to the limits. Meanwhile, Kelly Cutrone offers Whitney a job in New York and showing a possibility of new relationships for Conrad and Partridge.

MTV Movie Awards Nominees Announced

Nominees for the much awaited, 17th Annual MTV Movie Awards has been announced! Who will take home the Golden Popcorn trophy this time? The destiny of the nominees lies to it's fans like you, so vote now! Voting last until May 23, 2008. Like MTV Movie Awards' previous ceremonies, it will be shown live on June 1, 2008 while it happens at the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, California. Binibing Pilipinas 2008's Presentation of Candidates at Sofitel

The Bb. Pilipinas Beauty Pageant officially kicked off with the press presentation of the 24 candidates who will vie for the three crowns at stake: Bb. Pilipinas-World, Bb. Pilipinas-International, and Bb. Pilipinas-Universe. The presentation was held Thursday, February 21, at the Sunset Pavilion of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila located at the CCP Complex, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.



Looking all gorgeous and sexy in their red-metallic swimsuits provided by Cumbia at the Gateway, the latest batch of


official candidates is as promising as ever—with law students, CPAs, medical professionals, teachers, and even an SK chairman in the roster.

Dubbed as the most prestigious beauty pageant in the Philippines, the Bininibing Pilipinas beauty pageant—started in 1964 by former Miss Columbia and the very first Miss International Stella Marquez-Araneta—has produced two Miss Universe winners (Gloria Diaz in 1969 and Maria Margarita Moran in 1973) and three Miss International winners (Aurora Pijuan in 1970, Melanie Marquez in 1979, and Precious Lara Quigaman in 2005).



However, it has yet to claim a Miss World crown, coming only second in 1973 (with Evangeline Pascual) and third in 1993 (with Ruffa Gutierrez). In 2005, Carlene Aguilar was predicted to win because she was a heavy favorite among Internet users. However, she only made it to the semifinals.



The annual Bb. Pilipinas Beauty Pageant is the main source of funds of the Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc., (BPCI) which helps indigent families, less fortunate members of Philippine society, and calamity-stricken victims. BPCI also contributed to the global effort of aiding tsunami victims when it made its donation during the MTV Asia Aid Event at the Araneta Center in 2005.


Paolo Bediones will host the coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas 2008 on March 8 at the Araneta Coliseum with Raymond Gutierrez and 1994 Bb. Pilipinas-Universe winner Charlene Gonzalez-Muhlach. This will be aired in GMA-7.
