Beyonce Knowles is being eyed for the lead role in Warner Bros’s remake of A Star Is Born, according to sources. This film is about an up-and-coming starlet who becomes romantically involved with a well-known male star as their careers go in differing directions.

The new Star will be the 4th version of the story, the most famous of which starred Barbra Streisand & Kris Kristofferson back in 1976.

This won’t be Beyonce’s first trip to the big screen. The former Destiny’s Child singer has appeared in box office offerings like Obsessed, Dreamgirls, & Cadillac Records. She also starred in MTV’s made-for-TV hip-hopera Carmen.

Kanye West Apologizes on Jay Leno's Show

In a 3 mins. interview with Jay Leno, rapper Kanye West expressed regret for taking away the microphone from Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards 2009.

“I immediately knew in the situation that it was wrong,” Kanye West told Jay Leno during the talk show host's prime-time debut.

Kanye West also said that he’d like to apologize to Taylor Swift in person.

According to a newspaper reports in Australia, the early gender tests have proved that Caster Semenya is a hermaphrodite. This reports claimed that South African runner Semenya has some sort of testosterone producing internal male se-xual organs but does not have womb or o-varies.

Ellen Degeneres on American Idol, Replacing Paula Abdul

Yup! The 4th seat on American Idol has been filled.

After a month, Paula Abdul tendered her much talked about Twitter resignation as a judge on "American Idol," Fox announced last Wednesday that she was being replaced by one of the show's biggest fans, comedian & talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres.

Fox's 5-year deal with Ellen DeGeneres puts to rest a major challenge facing Fox as the aging singing competition enters its 9th season in January 2010, filling the shoes of the judge considered by many to be the heart of the show: Paula Abdul.

"I don't know how it happened myself, but I have not missed one episode of that show," Ellen said in the episode of the talk show that airs today. "I love everything about it and I love music, as you know. Hopefully I'm the people's point of view because I'm just like you. I sit at home and I watch it and I don't have that technical . . . I'm not looking at it in a critical way from the producer's mind. I'm looking at it as a person who is going to buy the music and is going to relate to that person."

Park Jaebum of 2PM Scandal

2PM is a 6-member boy band from Seoul, South Korea. They are managed by Park Jin-Young of JYP Entertainment. The members of 2PM are Chansung, Wooyoung, Nichkhun, Junho, Jaebeom, Junsu, Taecyeon.

On September 4, 2009, articles surfaced on the internet regarding Jaebeom's posts on his personal Myspace account about his dislike for Korea & Koreans way back in 2005. Some of the things she said is:

“Korea is g-ay…I hate Koreans…Korea is w-hack…but everyone thinks I’m like the illest rapper when I suck nuts at rappin”

Jaebeom issued an apology regarding this matter.Although outraged protesters demanded that Jaebeom should be forced out of 2PM, JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin-young stated on September 7 that he was going to continue to remain part of the group. The following day, Jaebeom announced on his offical fancafe that he would be leaving the group and returning to the US, and apologized to the other 2PM members for not being a good leader and older brother to the group.

Just today, Jaebeom (Jay Park) leaved Korea on an afternoon flight at Incheon Airport with over 500 fans literally screaming, crying, and begging for him not to go.
